INTRODUCTION
The Halberg Mile is a fundraising event run by the Halberg Foundation, a registered charity in New Zealand.
By registering to participate in the Halberg Mile, you confirm that you accept and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
- ELIGIBILITY
Schools
- Only schools in New Zealand may register.
- Registration is free.
- A nominated school representative must complete the registration and confirm they have authority to register on behalf of the school.
Students & Individuals
- Any student or individual may participate through their school’s fundraising page.
- Participants under 18 must have written permission from a parent or guardian.
- PRIVACY & PUBLICITY
- We collect information about schools and participants to manage participation, process donations, and for promotional purposes.
- By registering, you agree that your school (and participating students, where applicable) may be publicly featured on the Halberg Mile website, social media, or other communications.

- GENERAL TERMS & DISCLAIMERS
- The Halberg Foundation may alter, suspend, or cancel the event or any prize component at its discretion.
- The Foundation is not responsible for technical issues or misdirected registrations, funds, or communications.
- The Foundation reserves the right to refuse or disqualify any registration at its sole discretion, including in cases of fraudulent or misleading information.
- Decisions by the Halberg Foundation regarding the event and prizes are final.
- Except as prohibited by law, the Foundation excludes liability for personal injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the event.
- Participants agree to comply with any guidelines or instructions issued by the Halberg Foundation.
