Halberg Mile 2025

Whangārei Girls' High School is taking part in the Halberg Mile

Whangārei Girls' High School is taking part in the Halberg Mile – running, walking, or rolling one mile to help make sport fair and fun for everyone. Too often, kids with physical disabilities are left out of physical activity and miss the chance to play with their friends.

The Halberg Foundation is working to change that by giving schools, teachers and coaches the tools, training, and support they need to make sport inclusive, and by funding adaptive equipment so no child is left on the sidelines.

Every step, roll, and stride in the Halberg Mile is more than a mile — it’s a step towards inclusion. That’s why Whangārei Girls' High School is doing our part, and we'd love you to sponsor us so every Kiwi kid can play, belong, and thrive.

Thank you for caring — every dollar makes a difference.
